Dear friends,
We are delighted to tell you that the website is up and running. In it you will be able to find information about the 14th International Meeting of Women in Black. You
will be able to register and obtain information about the Meeting. Those of you who don't know us will be able to find out
who Women in Black are and what the International Net is.
We would like to build the majority of this site with you in order to make ourselves visible and spread our voices, reflections,
actions and demands.
The menu has two pages: -
The first "XIV International Meeting" displays the information on the event.
The second "Women in Black", is devoted to all the groups on the International Net. It's here where we would like, with
maximum interest, you to take part, in order to give a solid form to the diversity and richness of Women in Black throughout
the world. This richness is stated in "Our Collective Memory". The idea of this space is to receive contributions from any
Woman in Black, groups of Women in Black and any groups or women with ties to these. For any documents or photographs
to reach us all you need to do is to click on the heading "Processes, reflections and actions" and a page will be displayed
where you can send contributions. (Please take note you have to attach the document first and then fill in the form.) This
can also be done via the following e-mail, aportaciones@mujeresdeneqro.org. In "Links" please add any addresses you feel are of interest. Send them to info@mujeresdenegro.org. Information is also available via "Contact".
We are already receiving questions and some contributions from within Spain.
These appear in "Our Collective Memory"
To end, an important notice:- Those of you who want to be in Valencia before the Meeting or wish to stay on after, will
be able to do so at the Galileo Galilei College. Write to us at info@mujeresdenegro.org telling us the days/dates and we will organise your stay.
Visit our website and send your contributions! We look forward to getting them.
Warm wishes to all of you,
Women in Black. Infrastructure Committee.
